Parascand Consulting is a one-principal consulting firm based in Virginia, serving small and mid-size businesses across the United States. I'm James Parascand — I founded it because the AI consulting market, frankly, isn't serving SMBs well.

The big firms don't return your call. The agencies don't know what a token costs. The YouTube tutorials get you a working prototype on Saturday and a broken integration by Tuesday. There's a real gap — and I'm sitting in it.

Why this firm

The positioning, in one sentence.

Parascand Consulting is the credible consulting firm that does AI — not the tech-bro agency that pretends to be a consulting firm.

Two things are true at the same time:

The AI is real. Voice agents that take orders. Workflow automations that save 20 hours a week. Custom GPTs that triage tickets better than a junior. This is not a slide deck anymore.

The AI consulting market is, mostly, not real. Agencies that pivoted from web design in 2024. Consultants who can't tell you what a token costs. Bigger firms with $250K minimums and twelve-week discovery phases. The category is failing the buyer.

The right firm to bridge that gap looks like an operator who's done the work — at his own businesses first — and can talk to a small-business owner without the deck. That's what we are. That's what we sell.

Licensed life-insurance producer. Cross-sell flow with the notary book (estate planning conversations naturally start at notary appointments). Practical experience with insurance CRM tooling, compliance scripts, and licensed-rep workflows.

Additional revenue lines including platform deal sourcing and sports-contract outreach — both with their own outreach workflows, CRMs, and pipelines. The "automation problems" we solve for clients are the same ones we solved for ourselves.

Tell the truth, even when it costs the engagement.

About 1 in 5 audits ends with us telling the client to fix process first. We'd rather lose the project than ship a brittle automation that fails in six months.

One principal on every engagement.

The person you talk to on the fit call is the person who scopes it, builds it, and answers when something breaks. No bait-and-switch to a junior.

Fixed price, written scope.

Proposals are fixed-price with explicit "out of scope" lists. Platform pass-through costs are disclosed. No time-and-materials surprises.

You can fire us.

Documentation, Loom walkthrough, runbook. You should be able to keep the automation running without us. We don't build lock-in by hiding the keys.

The right tool, not the favorite tool.

We're not a Zapier shop. We're not an n8n shop. We pick the platform after mapping the workflow. About 60% lands on Make.com — but that's a result, not a starting point.

We won't deploy outbound voice AI to cold purchased data. We will deploy outbound to your sphere, your past clients, or your opted-in pipeline — DNC-scrubbed.
